About Julia

“I feel so blessed to do what I love and hope to help and inspire others along the way. I can’t wait to meet you all when the Soul House Yoga doors officially open this Spring.” – Julia

INSTRUCTOR & FOUNDER

Julia is a Southern California native beach girl, that has always felt most herself and most free when connecting with physical movement. Her yoga journey began in 2008 after a life-changing back injury. In 2013, having discovered yoga’s ability to heal both body, mind, and spirit Julia felt inspired to complete her 200 HR RYT. Since then, she has completed her 500 HR RYT, as well as completed trainings and taught classes in Barre, Mat Pilates, Yoga Sculpt, Trigger Point Therapy/ Myofascial Release, Fuse (26-2), Prenatal, and Yin.

Julia relocated from the South Bay to Ventura, California, with her family in 2021 and soon noticed the need for a warm, welcoming yoga studio in East Ventura. Inspired, she set out to create one herself!

Julia brings a playful yet soulful energy to the classroom, focusing on alignment while safely guiding students through creative sequences that keep them present and engaged. She encourages self-reflection and the exploration of personal boundaries, teaching when to push forward and when to ease off as needed. Her classes are designed for all levels, inviting everyone to pour their heart onto the mat, sweat on the floor, and connect with their spiritual source within.

She encourages everyone to show up as their best selves, worst selves, most perfectly imperfect selves, and shine their light big and bright. She hopes that each student who takes her class walks away feeling lighter, freer and having given themselves exactly what they needed.
